Vietnam women's football championship

Vietnam's women's football championship is the highest league of women's football in Vietnam. The league was established in 1998 and is currently contested by 7 teams . The team with the most championships is coming from Hanoi. The league's attendance is very high with over 2,000 spectators per game in the 2010 season.
==History==
In 1998, the first tournament was held with two teams involved: Hochiminh City and Ha Noi. Ha Noi won the leagues first championship and also record champion with seven championships. Currently the tournament currently involves 6 teams. Vietnam women's football championship was the first football tournament for women in South East Asia.
